EV FUN FACTS
Yes, you read that right. EVs might seem expensive compared to equivalent petrol models, but a novated lease can slash more than 20% off the retail price. EVs under the Luxury Car Tax threshold are exempt from Fringe Benefits Tax and paid via pre-tax income — reducing your taxable income and boosting your return. In many cases, that return more than offsets the EV premium.

More carmakers are tapping into a key truth: EVs can be genuinely fun to drive. While the Hyundai IONIQ 5 N and Porsche Taycan lead the pack, there are plenty of smaller, more affordable options delivering real driver enjoyment. Instant torque, a low centre of gravity, and even features like the Abarth 500e’s bold synthetic engine sound make for a surprisingly engaging drive.
